Summary
This brief study deals with the global awakening towards Israeli crimes, especially the crime of apartheid committed against the Palestinian Arab people, which the world has recognized as one of the most severe crimes against humanity, according to the 1976 International Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Apartheid. The global awakening was represented by the issuance of a number of Israeli reports, firstly and internationally, and more recently by weighty reports by the rapporteurs of the Human Rights Council and others, as well as the International Court of Justice's long-awaited advisory opinion on the responsibilities of states towards the prolonged occupation of the territory of the State of Palestine; and the long-awaited labeling of Israel as an "apartheid state", after Israel went too far in legislating unambiguous apartheid laws and committing genocide in the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian Bank, including Jerusalem (the Holy City of Jerusalem). The study focused on examining the implications of the International Court of Justice's opinion and position on labeling Israel as an apartheid state. It was necessary to review the rules and provisions of the opinion of the International Court of Justice, the subsequent General Assembly resolution on it, the issue of the binding nature of principles, rules, resolutions and policies of Zionist-American hegemony and bullying, the pursuit of the Israeli entity's membership in the United Nations, which is a rogue an rebellious membership that requires international accountability, and the tools and mechanisms for holding Israel accountable that are now being implemented and followed up.
